Chateau Carman consists of 2 new properties on the farm, one being the 2 bedroom apartments for the smaller group and the other being the much larger chateau which can comfortably sleep 14 people there is a very large swimming pool with adjoining bbq area /shower, changing room and wc
Chateau Carman
is a large newly built house comfortably accomodating 14 people with 6 double bedrooms, and four bathrooms
all bedrooms & the lounge are fully airconditioned apart from the top floor which has the benefit of floor fans
the ground floor has a large lounge area with an ornate fireplace, it has an open plan large modern kitchen that is equipped with a cooker oven, dishwasher,a large fridge freezer a toaster and a kettle
there is a dining table and chairs for 10 people
the lounge has french doors leading out on to the terrace, it is furnished with 2 settees a tv and dvd player
there is a large laundry room on the ground floor
there is a seperate wc on the ground floor as well as a double ensuite bedroom , this bedroom consists of 2 single beds & built in wardrobes
on the 1st floor there is the master bedroom with 2 french doors leading out onto a large balcony overlooking the farm and another door leading out onto a intercommunicating balcony overlooking the pool area
there is a further 3 large bedrooms on this landing, and a shared bathroom
on the top floor there is a huge l shaped room with 2 french doors leading out onto the terrace which overlooks the farm and the lake in the distance
this room can be used to sleep 4 people or as a lounge, it has a shower wc on the landing
all windows and french doors have mosquita screens as well as shutters
the basement is set aside for staff storage & ironing etc
all the balconies are furnished with chairs and a coffee table
2 bedroom apartments
there is a further 2 x 2 bedroom self contained apartments purposely built for the small family or group, these each contain a lounge & a kitchen plus the wc shower, one bedroom contains a double bed and the other contains 2 single beds
the lounge contains a settee, a tv and dvd as well as table and chairs
the top floor apartment benefits from a large balcony overlooking the farm and swimming pool
Swimming pool
the swimming pool is 10 x 15 meters, it is 1 meter deep at the shallow end & 1.7 meters at the deep end
it has its own terrece area with lounges, along with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains
adjoining the swimming pool area is a covered bbq / kitchen area with a roll down canopy, where prearranged breakfasts/dinners are served on summer days, gueats are welcome to use this area as long as it is left clean & tidy
the bbq is 2 meters long with adjoining granete sink and drainer,
this area is equipped with a water chiller,a cooker and a fridge etc
there are numerous cupboards and draws under the worktop
